Sunday, April 19th At 5 PM
To comply with social distancing requirements, vehicles should not contain more than ten people. This means large vans and buses filled with more than ten will not be admitted.
When you pull into the parking lot, please keep your windows rolled up and we will place a bag on your driver's side mirror that will contain the following items: Visitor/Decision card, Pen, Announcements/info page, Offering Envelope, Pre-filled/sealed communion juice and wafer (Please inform the team leader how many are in your vehicle), and optional Kids items. *In order to alleviate public concern: ALL items placed in the bag were done so by individuals wearing gloves.
Please consider arriving at least 20-30 minutes early. As you pull into the parking lot an Ark Church PARKING ATTENDANT will direct you to a designated parking spot. Please be advised that if your vehicle is tall or “lifted” you will be directed to a back row parking spot to help with visibility.
There will be Ark Church Team Leaders standing by our donation containers ready to receive all non-perishable foods and essential item donations. You do not have to get out of your car. If you have items in your trunk, please open the trunk, and the team leader will unload the items for you. We invite you to join us in donating some items so that we may minister to those in need during this crisis. Here are the requested items: *Any non-perishable food items, toilet paper, toothpaste/toothbrush, hygiene products, baby Tylenol or Motrin, laundry detergent, water bottles, soap and disinfectants, diapers (all sizes) and wipes.
Should you have children in your vehicle that would like to receive a kids activity pack, please notify the Ark Church Team Leader who is distributing bags upon your arrival. What’s included: Crayons, sticker activity sheet, color/game activity sheet, chocolate, goldfish crackers.
Look for a SIGN that will tell you at which radio frequency you can set your radio. You will be able to hear the worship and sermon right through the speakers in your car. You may also crack your window to hear the live sound.
You can give through the Ark Church App or online at arkchurch.net/give. As you exit there will also be a designated location and container where you can drop off your tithe and offerings.
Our buildings will not be open, so if you need to use the restroom it is up to you to find a location nearby. Please keep in mind the service will not exceed 45 minutes.
After the service is over an Ark Church Team Leader will direct you out of the parking lot. DO NOT EXIT the parking lot UNTIL you have been signaled by a parking attendant. If you MUST leave prior to dismissal, it is ABSOLUTELY PERTINENT that you exercise great caution as you exit the parking lot.
In the event of inclement weather, Park At The Ark will happen RAIN OR SHINE, however, planned elements such as full band and music may be postponed due to rain. The only grounds for full cancellation will be severe weather.
MAIZE POLICE OFFICERS will be patrolling the grounds and working with the Ark Church Security team for the entire duration of Park At The Ark.
We believe this is going to be the greatest SUNDAY we’ve ever had at The Ark Church! We are going to have such an amazing time together in the presence of the Lord on His grounds! Instead of saying “amen” feel free to honk or blink your lights WHEN instructed! This is our time to rise up and let the love and light of Jesus shine brighter than ever before.
We encourage you to SPREAD THE WORD by every means possible! We want the entire city and surrounding area to know that we are gathering to celebrate Easter in this way. Invite as many friends and family as you can. Let’s bring family and friends the same as we always do on Easter! Please also notify any news outlets you may know of about our event. Share the Park At The Ark slide/graphic from our website and FB page.
